Mughal Tamasha, a distinct form of folk theater, is testament to the rich influences of Muslim culture in Orissa. This play, directed by Badal Sikdar and presented by Sanket, Bhadrak of Orissa, has dialogue in Hindi, Urdu, Oriya and Bengali. It is based on the visit of a Mughal Emperor`s revenue collector to Badrak, Orissa, where at a Shiva temple he gets attached to a local milk woman.
