Botany Department Students’ Facilities In BERHAMPUR University Orissa

Department Of Botany has several facilities for students to develop their knowledge, such as regular weekly seminar, good seminar library with recent books on plant and environment sciences. Instruments like, U.V. Visible spectrophotometre, Cryostate, GLC. Flame Photometre, Laminar Flow, Rotary Shaker, Photo Warburg, Apparatus, Electrophoresis, Fluroscent photo microsome and photo microphy facility computers etc are available to conduct research works on various aspects on plant and Environmental Sciences. Besides, the dapartment has a good herbaria hall, with more than 5000 type specimen and a good Botanical garden covering an area of 10 hectares with Polyhouse facilities to work out field experiments
