Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture National Freshwater Pearl Culture Training Programme will be held on 11th to 16th March 2013.it organized by Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture at CIFA headquarters. Interested person may apply along with course fee for National training programme on “Freshwater Pearl Culture”. The details are mentioned below. It is necessary the trainees should have a good vision and have basic knowledge of biology/fish farming. Selected person will be informed in due course of time.
Course contents
Introduction to freshwater pearl mussels, anatomy, introduction to nucleus beads, different implantation method: mantle cavity, mantle tissue, gonadal, water quality parameters, fabrication of bag for culture etc.
Course Fee: Rs. 6000/- head (to be paid in shape of demand draft drawn in favour of ICAR unit, CIFA payable at SBI, Kausalyaganga (code 8874)
Lodging and boarding: Rs. 250/head/day (Arrangement in the Institute training hostel)
Last date for submission of Application form along with course fee: 20 February 2013
Maximum intake: 11 (First come first basis)
