Regional Plant Resource Center library of the Center has a collection of 2500 books which falls under the broad thrust areas of Taxonomy, Biotechnology, Tissue Culture, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Forestry and Ecology, Physiology and biochemistry, Microbiology, Cytology and Molecular Biology, Horticulture, Floriculture, Ornamental Plants and many other. Number of periodicals and journals on various aspects of biological sciences also form a part of collection. About 22 Indian journals covering the thrust areas of research conducted in the Center are part of the library holdings.
Other ready materials such as slides, transparencies, cassettes, floppies, CDs and many audio-visual aids are stored in the library. Large number of Current Contents in electronic form since 1998 is available with the library. Photocopy facilities to the readers of the library is available on payment instantly. Internet surfing for literature by the research fellows of the center available with the library. This reference library is being consulted by students, teaching staffs, researchers and fellows of various institutions such as OUAT, RRL, Utkal University, Berhampur University, CRRI, Regional Center of CTCRI, MITS, BITS, NIMS and many other research institutions.
